Resolve ""Synchronise with"/"Comparison" is broken"

The branch title is irritating, originally a slow internet connection caused prevented loading the data (see the issue for more information). What I did now in this branch is sorting out live session, which can't be compared with, to fix an error message (see the issue, too).
