Live Annotator should either automatically start a session or ask me to start one before annotating
I was taking a closer look at using the live annotator without recording a video to simply capture annotations of all sorts. With the new option to see the annotations in the timeline viewer this makes now sense and is really a great option. However, if I just go to the live annotator and add annotations I can't see them in the timeline viewer because there is no "session". I have to start a live annotation session (using the record button) no matter if I record a video in parallel or not. Otherwise annotations still end up on the timeline but are not visible.
I would suggest to thus either not show or block the input field as long as no live annotation session has been started (maybe including a prompt that you should first start a session) OR I would automatically add the session annotation as soon as you start typing or something like that.
