Not possible to record voice in comments in Timeline Viewer?

Maybe someone can check this? Because it might just be a problem for me (see #1312 (closed)).

But I can't use the the voice/mic recording in comment on annotations in the Timeline Viewer. Recording does not start at all. No error. Almost seems as if the button is not wired?!
