I am currently trying to figure out if there is a possibility of creating a transit schedule from GTFS with vehicle circulations using LinTim. For this I have downloaded LinTim and I am to play around to see what works / what fails. Regarding LinTim i have a bunch of questions:
I usually work on MacOs but i got this message:
Geros-iMac-3:toy Gero$ make lc-line-concept
../../src/line-planning/line-planning.sh basis/Config.cnf
readlink: illegal option -- f
usage: readlink [-n] [file ...]
Error: the config command is not usable. Make sure that
./essentials/config/config.sh
exists and is executable.
make: *** [lc-line-concept] Error 1
Google tells me, that this message means that I cannot run the script on MacOS but have to use Linux. Is this correct or is the error message misleading me?
Secondly after installing Ubuntu-64bit on a VM (first time operating Ubuntu), downloading the software required (python, ant and I used ‘build-essential’ for the rest), I am trying to run a bunch of ‘make’ commands. Some builds were successful, some like lc-line-concept told me I had to install another software (which i could not find as open-source). Make vs-vehicle-schedules gave me multiple errors. (See attached logfile [vs-vehicle-schedule.log](/uploads/659dc9b7fcfe3801a8332be44a9b7da4/vs-vehicle-schedule.log)) If you need more information please tell me.
Regarding the GTFS-Converter I presume the easiest way would be to import GTFS to VISUM and use your API to convert VISUM to LINTIM and afterwards export it again to VISUM? Or do you have your own GTFS-Converter which would solve this issue?
If this is not the place to pose these questions please let me know. Unfortunately I do not know where else to place them. I am thankful for any assistance you could provide.
Kind regards,
Gero
